AMIENS lost 8-6 against CHEF-BOUTONNE

Unfortunately last week-end Amiens lost its first match in the National 1 level: 8/6 against CHEF-BOUTONNE (a small town near Poitiers).

The teams were:

CHEF BOUTONNE : Frédéric SONNET (2823 points, n°74 in the French ranking), Lucian FILIMON (2722 points, n°93), Christian DANCIU (2323 points, n°354),Vincent PICARD (2186 points, n°608)

AMIENS : Yannick VOSTES (2845 points, n°67), Arthur BILAS (2438 points, n°249), Stéphane HUCLIEZ (2540 points, n°174), Raphaël CHATELAIN (2314 points, n°368)

The two best players of Chef Boutonne (the Belgian Frédéric SONNET, n°74 and the Romanian Lucian FILIMON n°93), won their 3 matches, and they also won their double match against Stéphane HUCLIEZ & Arthur BILAS.

Amiens was very close to the draw, because Yannick VOSTES lost against Frédéric SONNET 3/1, but he led 10/8 in the third set and 10/9 in the fourth. What a shame!

Yannick VOSTES (n°67) scored 2 victories, Arthur BILAS (n°249) 2 victories, Stéphane HUCLIEZ (n°174) 1 victory, and Raphaël CHATELAIN (n°368) & Yannick VOSTES won a double match.
