MICHAL OBESLO will play in AMIENS SPORT TABLE TENNIS CLUB in January 2017 !

Michal OBESLO is a 27 year-old Czech player. He will play in the team of Amiens Sport Table Tennis Club in the National 1 League, for the second part of the season 2016-2017.

This right-handed, nice and smiling player has begun table tennis at the age of 8, in Ohare a small town 60km from Praha.

He played till 2013 in the Czech club of El Nino, and then in the Swedish club of BTK Rekord (with Jesper HEDLUND!) and the French team of Loire Nord TT. Last year he played in the German club of Tus Fuerstenfeldbruck.

For the next season he will play in the BTK Rekord club and the Amiens Sport Table tennis club.

Michal is n°189 in the World rankings, and he will be the n°47 in the French rankings for the next season.

His major titles are a silver medal in the Youth European Championship in 2007 (in the team competition) and a bronze medal in mixed doubles in the European Championship in 2013.

He won two titles in the Czech championship in double and mixed double in 2013. He won three times the Czech League with his team in 2010, 2012 and 2013.

Michal plays with a Tibhar H39 blade, and Tibhar Evolution MX-P rubbers.

His best table tennis memories are the final of the European Championship in 2007, and his first participation in the World Championship in 2012.

But his future best memories will be in Amiens!!!
